November in North Fulton: Fall's Final Weekends

November is one of the best months to be out and about in North Fulton. The leaves are turning, the weather is crisp, and there's plenty happening before the holiday rush. Here are a few local events worth making time for.
Alpharetta Women's Half Marathon & 5K: Sunday, November 1 at Avalon. Whether you're running or cheering from the sidelines, it's a fun, high-energy way to start the month.
Milton Veterans Breakfast: Saturday, November 7. The City of Milton honors local veterans with its annual breakfast, a meaningful tradition ahead of Veterans Day.
Alpharetta Farmers Market finale: Saturday, November 14 in Downtown Alpharetta is the last market of the season. Stock up on local produce, baked goods, and meats for your Thanksgiving table.
Holiday shopping in Roswell: The Titan Tidings Christmas Gift Show runs November 14 and 15 at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, and the Roswell Holiday Expo is November 27 and 28 at the Mimms Museum of Technology & Art. Both are great spots to find one-of-a-kind gifts from local makers.
Alive in Roswell, bonus edition: Thursday, November 19 on Historic Canton Street. After June's event was rained out, Roswell added this extra date. Expect live music, food, and the usual Canton Street fun. Leashed pups welcome.
Small Business Saturday: November 28, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Our downtowns in Alpharetta, Roswell's Canton Street, and Crabapple are full of locally owned shops, and every purchase helps keep our community's character intact.
Event details are from Awesome Alpharetta, the City of Milton, and the Roswell Convention & Visitors Bureau. Please confirm times with each host before heading out.
